Newberry SPORTSMAN'S RECREATION SHOW

September 21 & 22, 2013 at the La Pine Community Center and La Pine State Park

The La Pine Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a brand new event for La Pine and Newberry Country -- The Newberry Sportsman's Recreation Show & River Derby!

We are offering this opportunity to our recreation partners to join us in the business showcase aspect of this event. We encourage you to create a display of your properties and assets to show to the visitors and locals that will be attending. We are actively recruiting vendors of recreation and sportsman merchandise such as fishing/hunting/camping supplies; RV's & off-road vehicles, etc.

We are planning seminars in archery, black powder, fly fishing, hunting safety, etc. We are working on demos such as Dutch Oven Camp Cook-ing and we are arranging for a kiddie fishing hole in the middle of it all. We hope to grow this into a premier sportsman event. PLUS… we have invented a "River Derby" utilizing the beautiful Deschutes River and our own La Pine State Park! It is an ambitious undertaking, and we understand it will take a few years to become the ultimate event we have envisioned, so we are offering very reasonable vendor/exhibitor rates for this first year.

Welcome to La Pine, Oregon!
